Delphi IDE Gadgets #1

Do you still use old good Delphi (Object Pascal) for developing applications? I do - not only at home but even at work. Recently when I had some spare time I discovered, that there are some usefull gadgets for Delphi IDE which can increase developer productivity:

• DDevExtensions - this is a IDE plugin, which adds some cool experts to Delphi/BCB (5, 6, 7) IDE. Most useful for me is ComponentSelector for speed up the search for component. There is more interesting features - eg. new View Forms, View Units dialogs. More information about plugin can be found on plugin homepage.


• DelphiSpeedUp - plugin, which speeds up Delphi/BCB IDE load time and generally improves speed of IDE after loading. It uses FastCode RTL functions replacement. More info on plugin home.


• GExperts - mega pack with many usefool tools and experts for Delphi/BCB IDE. Full features description can be found on http://www.gexperts.org/tour/. Project homepage: http://www.gexperts.org/.
• Delphi & C++Builder IDE Palette Menu - IDE expert which allows you to group component palette tabs by user-defined categories. Detailed description, screenshots, expert package and source code is available on http://www.raize.com/DevTools/Tools/PaletteMenu.asp.
